Every rule on housr quotes a statute from an official legislature site and says when we checked it. Laws change, and we make mistakes. If a date, a quote, a link or a summary is wrong, tell us below with a link to the official text. We don't accept secondary sources (blogs, landlord sites, law-firm summaries) as proof on their own, but they can point us to the statute.
