Legal review
No named legal reviewer has signed a rule yet.
In one line
We read and quote every statute ourselves and date the check. Until a named, qualified reviewer signs a state, its law pages say “legal review pending” and stay out of search engines.
housr is not a law firm. Every rule on the site quotes a statute from an official legislature site and shows the day we checked the text. That check is ours: it is careful, but it is not a lawyer's sign-off. Reviewed rules today: 0.
How review will work
- A named reviewer with relevant qualifications reads the statute, our quote, our summary and our computed dates, and signs with their name and the date.
- Reviews last 12 months. After 12 months the page shows a stale banner; after 18 months it leaves search engines until it is re-reviewed.
- Statute links are re-checked automatically; a dead link sends the rule to our review queue.
- Corrections from readers go into the same queue. Accepted ones are listed on corrections.
We won't list a reviewer we haven't got. When one signs, their name appears here and on each page they reviewed. Read how we check rules.
