Terms of use

In one line
housr is free to use. It gives information, not legal advice, and you decide what to save and what to send.

Information, not legal advice

housr is not a law firm. Deadlines and estimates are worked out from the statute text we cite and from what you enter, and each shows how it was calculated. Laws change and your lease or situation may differ, so check the statute we link to, and contact your state's legal aid or court self-help center for help with your case. We don't promise any outcome.

Estimates

A prorated Fair Charge figure is an estimate using a typical useful life that you can change. It is not a legal limit on what a landlord may charge.

Your account

Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what you add and what you send to others, and for having the right to upload any photos or files you add.

Money

housr records amounts in a household ledger. It never moves money; payments between roommates happen in the apps you choose.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version, with its date, is always on this page.
