Re: Notice of intent to vacate Rental: [rental address]

Dear [landlord's name],

This is my written notice that I will end my tenancy at the rental above and vacate on [last day of the tenancy]. I will return the keys on [key return date].

Florida law (Fla. Stat. §83.57(3)) sets a default notice period for a month-to-month tenancy: Not less than 30 days' notice before the end of a monthly period. If my lease sets a different period, I am giving this notice under the lease.

Thank you.

Sincerely, [your name]
