Dear [landlord's name],

This is my written notice that I will end my tenancy at the rental above and vacate on [last day of the tenancy]. I will return the keys on [key return date].

New York law (N.Y. Real Prop. Law §232-b) sets a default notice period for a month-to-month tenancy outside new york city: At least one month before the end of the term, outside New York City. If my lease sets a different period, I am giving this notice under the lease.

Please tell me how to arrange the move-out inspection, as I would like to be present.
